24th October 2016
It’s Halloween every day for us here at HMM, but this year we have an extra little treat for you. Our new portable game, Plumbottom’s Magnificent Return, will be free to play at the Watson’s General Telegraph (WGT) in Forest Hill Friday 28th and Saturday 29th October.
For those of you that have already played Lady Chastity at one of our permanent pub venues, you may recall that Plumbottom is the legendary hero who swept Chastity off her feet in a swift and slightly demented love affair. For those that haven’t, think Harold Bishop in Neighbours; despite his bumbling demeanour he’s a bit of a ladies man.
In this portable game, Plumbottom’s spirit has returned to win Lady Chastity’s heart once more. Teams of 3-5 players are tasked with a hilarious and frantic 5-minute challenge in which they attempt to succeed in helping the ghost of Plumbottom.
The game is part of a full Halloween weekend at WGT, so you can wash down all the fun with a Dark & Stormy cocktail, Beavertown’s new pumpkin juice or a Bloody Vampire and rattle your bones to DJ Rob Delta from 9pm. No tickets required, just rock up and enjoy the fun.
It’s a great way to test out your wits and have a laugh with your mates. All you need to do to get involved is pop along to the Watson’s General Telegraph, 108 Forest Hill Road, SE22 0RS on Friday or Saturday evening. Please note, this is an adult event for 18 and over.
You can also enter our Facebook Halloween competition for your chance to win a free game of Lady Chastity at one of our permanent venues in London or Brighton. Please get in touch if you have any questions.
